The Elmira Express soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Seton Catholic Central Saints to 1 in the Express non-league victory on Friday.

The Express now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Corning-Painted Post for a Southern Tier Athletic Conference game on Wednesday, October 8. Elmira will face a Hawks team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Horseheads (Horseheads, NY). The Hawks record now stands at 1-2.

The Saints (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Southside (Elmira, NY). The Green Hornets come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
