In Friday's non-league contest, the Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY) soccer team routed the host Scotia-Glenville Tartans (Scotia, NY), by a count of 9-0.

The Silver Warriors now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Saratoga Springs for a Suburban Council- Blue challenge on Saturday, October 4. Niskayuna will encounter a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Scotia-Glenville drops to 2-7 on the season. The Tartans host Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY) to battle the Rams in a Foothills Council- North battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Rams enter the battle with a record of 2-10. Amsterdam lost 4-0 in their recent league match against Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY)
