The Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA) football tipped the visiting Oakland Tech Bulldogs (Oakland, CA), 26-19 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Spartans now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to De Anza for a game on Friday, October 10. Pinole Valley will battle a Dons team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Fremont (Oakland, CA). The Dons record now stands at 0-3.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against McClymonds (Oakland, CA). The Warriors enter the contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, McClymonds got by Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA), 29-6, in a non-league contest.
