The Ascent Classical Academy Guardians edged the host Nederland Panthers volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's league outing.
The Guardians now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Elbert for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 21.
With the loss, Nederland drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Campion Academy (Loveland, CO) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, October 16. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 0-1.
