In Friday's league challenge, the host Centennial Rams volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mountain Valley Wolves.

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Creede (Creede, CO). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Creede beat Monte Vista (Monte Vista, CO), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolves meet the Sargent Farmers (Monte Vista, CO) in a challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Mountain Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Farmers come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Sierra Grande (Blanca, CO).
