The Northside Mustangs topped the visiting Chicago University Maroons volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 4. Northside will attempt to advance on its 9-13 season record. The Potters go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL).

The Maroons (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL). The Cristeros go into the non-league game with a 5-5 record.
