The Charlevoix Rayders soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Benzie Central Huskies to 0 in the Rayders non-league victory on Friday.
The Rayders now hold a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Elk Rapids for a Lake Michigan bout on Monday, October 6. Charlevoix will play a Elks squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Grayling (Grayling, MI). The Elks record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Benzie Central moves to 0-12 on the year. The Huskies travel to Glen Lake (Maple City, MI) to play the Lakers in a Northwest bout on Monday, October 6. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Glen Lake won 6-1 in their recent non-league bout against Boyne City (Boyne City, MI)
