The Christian Heritage Academy Lions (Northfield, IL) soccer overwhelmed the visiting College Prep of America Thunder (Lombard, IL), 9-2 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Beacon Academy (Evanston, IL). The Trailblazers enter the non-league battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, Beacon Academy was overwhelmed by Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus (Chicago, IL), 7-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Thunder battle the Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 4. College Prep of America will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to College Prep of America (Lombard, IL).
