In Friday's league test, the visiting Crosby Bulldogs soccer team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Waterbury Career Academy Spartans.

With the triumph, Crosby moves its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Kennedy (Waterbury, CT) to clash with the Eagles in a Naugatuck Valley test on Monday, October 6. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-8. Kennedy lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT)

The Spartans now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Torrington for a Naugatuck Valley outing on Wednesday, October 15.
