Denver Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting William Smith Eagles (Aurora, CO), 5-1 in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against SkyView Academy (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Hawks go into the 2A Mile High outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, SkyView Academy got by Heritage Christian (Fort Collins, CO), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Loveland Classical Lions (Loveland, CO) in a 3A/2A Foothills outing, on Monday, October 6. William Smith will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 4-4 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Thomas MacLaren School (Colorado Springs, CO).
