In Friday's league outing, the visiting Hope Blue Wave soccer squad scored a tight 6-2 win over the Woonsocket Villa Novans.
The Blue Wave (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI). The Kilties come into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Mt. Pleasant edged Hope (Providence, RI), 6-5, in a non-league test.
The Villa Novans now sport a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Hope for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Woonsocket will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Huskies record now stands at 5-5.
