The Pingree Highlanders soccer squad (South Hamilton, MA), was edged 2-1 in Friday's league battle with the host Landmark Vikings (Prides Crossing, MA)
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hyde (Bath, ME). The Phoenix come into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Hyde nipped Marianapolis Prep (Thompson, CT), 5-2, in a non-league test.
The Highlanders now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berwick Academy for a Eastern Independent test on Wednesday, October 15.
