Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA), 4-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Notre Dame-Green Pond advances its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA) to clash with the Olympians in a Colonial test on Monday, October 6. The Olympians come into the test with a record of 8-7. Jim Thorpe lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA)

The Blue Bombers now have a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Lehigh for a Colonial test on Tuesday, October 7. Palmerton will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Williams Valley (Tower City, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-10.
