The Long County Blue Tide routed the visiting Tattnall County Warriors softball team by a margin of 14-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Blue Tide now sport a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond Hill for a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. Long County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Camden County (Kingsland, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Tattnall County moves to 2-14 on the campaign. The Warriors host Ware County (Waycross, GA) to meet the Gators in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Gators go into the challenge with a record of 7-18. Ware County won 9-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Charlton County (Folkston, GA)
