With the win, Academy of Our Lady improves its record to 18-3 on the season. The Penguins travel to Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA) to encounter the Cougars in a Division II District 8 battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 11-8. Edna Karr won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA)

The Golden Tors now own a 10-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Private for a non-league contest on Friday, October 3. Sulphur will battle a Redhawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over North Iberville (Rosedale, LA). The Redhawks record now stands at 6-3.
