Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) and the host Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT), observed American Fork's volleyball team top Timpview by a tally of 3-0.

The Cavemen (16-7) will now prepare for their test against Mountain View (Orem, UT). The Bruins go into the non-league test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Mountain View achieved victory over Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT), 3-0, in a league test.

The Thunderbirds now own a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Canyon for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Timpview will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Tooele (Tooele, UT). The Wolves record now stands at 15-4.
