In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Belleville West Maroons.
The Red Knights (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 14-6 record. In their last challenge, Mascoutah beat Triad (Troy, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Maroons play the Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Belleville West will attempt to advance on its 9-14 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 16-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).
