Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Broadneck Bruins (Annapolis, MD) and the host Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), observed Broadneck's volleyball team top Calvert by a count of 3-0.
The Bruins (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen enter the non-league contest with a 17-7 record.
Next, the Cavaliers battle the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 6. Calvert will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Braves enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lackey (Indian Head, MD).
