The New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners volleyball squad (Santa Fe, NM), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs (Riverside, CA)

The Cubs (14-14) will now prepare for their contest against Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD). The Orioles enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Maryland School for the Deaf was tipped by Covenant Life (Gaithersburg, MD), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Roadrunners battle the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 3. New Mexico School for the Deaf will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Deaf Hoosiers enter the contest with a 12-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to International (Indianapolis, IN).
