The West Prairie Cyclones edged the host Centennial Chargers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Cyclones confront the Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 3. West Prairie will attempt to advance on its 13-11 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 5-13 record after their 2-0 league loss to Glenwood (Chatham, IL).
The Chargers (6-17) will now prepare for their game against Riverton (Riverton, IL). The Hawks come into the non-league outing with a 13-7 record. In their last outing, Riverton nipped New Berlin (New Berlin, IL), 2-0, in a league outing.
