The Doyle Tigers edged the visiting Central Lafourche Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 3. Doyle will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 12-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA).
The Trojans (9-13) will now prepare for their match against Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Vikings enter the non-league match with a 6-12 record. In their last bout, Airline was nudged by Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 3-0, in a league bout.
