In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Skyview Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Chaminade Eagles.

The Hawks (19-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Sea Kings come into the non-league challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Palos Verdes lost by Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Chaminade will attempt to upgrade on its 16-12 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 13-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA).
