Florida High School Volleyball - Legacy over Citrus

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Legacy Lions (Port St. Lucie, FL) and the host Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL), observed Legacy's volleyball team top Citrus by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lyman (Longwood, FL). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Lyman was knocked off by Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Hurricanes meet the Viera Hawks (Viera, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 4. Citrus will attempt to move on its 3-17 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 6-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Merritt Island (Merritt Island, FL).
