The Bulldogs (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ). The Panthers enter the 4A - Gila challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Amphitheater was beaten by Desert View (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Apaches meet the Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ) in a 5A - Southern challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Nogales will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Caballeros go into the test with a 3-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ).
