The Morgan City Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting East Jefferson Warriors to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now have a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy for a non-league game on Friday, October 3. Morgan City will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Westminster Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-12.

The Warriors (8-16) will now prepare for their outing against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league outing with a 3-15 record. In their last outing, New Iberia was topped by Sulphur (Sulphur, LA), 3-0, in a league outing.
