Greater Vision Academy Lions (Gibsonville, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Shining Light Academy Knights (Greensboro, NC), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Lions (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against True Gospel Christian (Madison, NC). The Grizzly enter the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record.

Next, the Knights meet the Oak Level Baptist Academy Conquerors (Stokesdale, NC) in a NCCSA A District 3 - East Region challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Shining Light Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
