California High School Volleyball - Soquel overwhelmed by Homestead

Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Soquel Knights (Soquel, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Homestead advances its record to 16-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza game on Tuesday, October 7. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 13-4. Los Altos won 3-1 in their recent league game against Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA)

The Knights (9-7) will now prepare for their game against Aptos (Aptos, CA). The Mariners go into the Santa Cruz Coast game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Aptos was dropped by Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
