Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lafayette Christian Academy advances its record to 16-9 on the season. The Knights travel to Central Private (Baker, LA) to play the Redhawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Central Private won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against North Iberville (Rosedale, LA)

Next, the Rebels play the Lutheran Gryphons (Metairie, LA) in a Division V District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Riverside Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to West St. John (Edgard, LA).
