In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Martin County Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Johns Country Day Spartans.
The Tigers (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Spanish River (Boca Raton, FL). The Sharks come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Spanish River lost by West Boca Raton (Boca Raton, FL), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
With the defeat, St. Johns Country Day moves to 6-11 on the season. The Spartans travel to Braden River (Bradenton, FL) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Friday, October 3. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 10-8. Braden River won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Parrish Community (Parrish, FL)
