Kentucky High School Volleyball - Meade County edged by Sayre

The Meade County Green Waves volleyball squad (Brandenburg, KY), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY)

With the win, Sayre improves its record to 23-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Green County (Greensburg, KY) to encounter the Dragons in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Dragons go into the battle with a record of 11-16.

The Green Waves now own a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Hardin for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 4. Meade County will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Bardstown (Bardstown, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 6-17.
