Vermont High School Volleyball - Mt. Mansfield tips Rice Memorial

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) and the host Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT), saw Mt. Mansfield's volleyball squad nudge Rice Memorial by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Mt. Mansfield improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cougars host South Burlington (South Burlington, VT) to encounter the Wolves in a Division 1 battle on Monday, October 6. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 2-7. South Burlington lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT)

Next, the Green Knights meet the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 6. Rice Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the contest with a 3-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Burlington (Burlington, VT).
