In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting New Trier Trevians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Tournament Opponent .
The Trevians (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Mighty Macs come into the non-league challenge with a 18-2 record. In their last challenge, Mother McAuley was beaten by Assumption (Louisville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the play the Calhoun Christian Cougars (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Tournament Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 86-236 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Heritage Christian Academy (Kalamazoo, MI).
