Connecticut High School Volleyball - Newtown over Notre Dame Prep

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) and the visiting Notre Dame Prep Lancers (Fairfield, CT), observed Newtown's volleyball team top Notre Dame Prep by a tally of 3-0.

The Nighthawks (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Bulldogs go into the Southwest-Colonial test with a 1-8 record.

The Lancers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stratford for a Southwest-Colonial test on Saturday, October 4.
