Ogallala Indians (Ogallala, NE) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians (18-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chase County (Imperial, NE). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Chase County went down by Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chadron for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. St. Thomas More will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-8.
