Illinois High School Volleyball - Riverton over Springfield Southeast

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Riverton Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Springfield Southeast Spartans.

The Hawks (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 6-15 record. In their last test, Centennial was defeated by Normal West (Normal, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host West Prairie for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3. Springfield Southeast will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 2-0 league win over Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 11-11.
