Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Roosevelt Teddies (Minneapolis, MN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cobras (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Washburn (Minneapolis, MN). The Millers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Washburn beat Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Teddies face the Randolph Rockets (Randolph, MN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Roosevelt will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Rockets go into the test with a 9-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN).
