With the win, Slidell improves its record to 19-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. John Curtis Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA)

Next, the Crusaders meet the Opelousas Catholic Vikings (Opelousas, LA) in a Division V District 2 challenge, on Monday, October 6. Westminster Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Academy of the Sacred Heart (Grand Coteau, LA).
