St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 2. St. Stephens will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC).
The Golden Eagles now have a 10-5 record.
