Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Mercy Jaguars (Louisville, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 3. Boyd County will attempt to advance on its 35-7 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 21-20 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY).

With the loss, Johnson Central drops to 27-5 on the campaign.
