The Louisa County Lions football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Albemarle Patriots to 12 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goochland for a non-league test on Monday, November 4. Louisa County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 42-7 non-league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Albemarle drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Patriots host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Wednesday, November 6. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-6. Western Albemarle won 32-0 in their recent non-league test against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA)
