The Lake Catholic Cougars soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Avon Lake Shoremen to 2 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cougars now hold a 18-1 record. They play next when they host Shawnee for a non-league bout on Sunday, November 3. Lake Catholic will play a Indians squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Perkins (Sandusky, OH). The Indians record now stands at 18-1.
With the loss, Avon Lake moves to 15-4 on the year.
