The Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Wakefield Country Day Owls (Flint Hill, VA), 9-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Fighting Owls now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity at Meadow View for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 1. Wakefield School will encounter a Tempest squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Ad Fontes Academy (Centreville, VA). The Tempest record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Wakefield Country Day moves to 11-4 on the year.
