The Irwin County Indians softball squad (Ocilla, GA), was edged 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA)
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 31. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 23-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 15-14 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA).
The Indians (20-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Clinch County (Homerville, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 19-10 record. In their last challenge, Clinch County held off Miller County (Colquitt, GA), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
