The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) and the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), observed Prince Avenue Christian's softball team get by Mount Vernon by a tally of 8-3.

The Wolverines (28-5) will now prepare for their bout against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 20-10 record. In their last bout, Trinity Christian tipped Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA), 11-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 31. Mount Vernon will attempt to advance on its 19-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 20-12 record after their 12-4 non-league win over St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA).
