Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), 28-0 in a non-league test.
The Lions now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Woodson for a non-league test on Thursday, November 6. Fairfax will face a Cavaliers team coming off a 28-6 non-league loss to Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-4.
The Bruins (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, West Springfield toppled Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 41-0, in a non-league challenge.
