Arizona High School Flag Football - Mountain View holds off Desert View

The Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) flag football tipped the visiting Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ), 17-14 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Mountain Lions now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo for a 5A Southern game on Tuesday, November 4. Mountain View will battle a Warriors team coming off a 50-0 league loss to Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 0-11.

The Jaguars (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Nogales (Nogales, AZ). The Apaches enter the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Nogales was edged by Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ), 49-0, in a non-league game.
