California High School Volleyball - Weed over Maxwell

The Weed Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Maxwell Panthers to 1 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now have a 18-12 record. They play next when they travel to Etna for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 4. Weed will play a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Loyalton (Loyalton, CA). The Lions record now stands at 21-9.

With the loss, Maxwell drops to 15-15 on the campaign.
