Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bridgers confront the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 5. Ambridge will attempt to move on its 13-6 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 19-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Montour (McKees Rocks, PA).
The Mustangs now possess a 18-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montour for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 2. Plum will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-5.
