In Monday's non-league contest, the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) volleyball squad edged the host King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, November 2. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 18-18 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 20-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA).

With the loss, King/Drew drops to 17-4 on the campaign.
