Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the host Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN), saw Lake Central's basketball squad hold off Kankakee Valley by a tally of 25-18.
With the victory, Lake Central improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Michigan City (Michigan City, IN) to play the Wolves in a challenge on Thursday, November 2. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
